DINNER BOARD

Doesn't everyone love a Cheese Board? It's one of my favorite items to order out at a restaurant. I love the different flavors, and I love slowly enjoying the experience.  Why not try it at home?  Why not have it for dinner?  Here are some different ideas.  Get creative and plan a theme board for your dinner.  Make it pretty.  Enjoy every bite.

The Greek Board:

Hummus

Feta cheese

Cucumbers

Baby carrots

Trader Joes makes a fantastic tzatziki dip 

Flackers (if watching carbs)

Could also use pita chips, pita bread, or crackers

 

The Protein board:

Avocado slices

Prosciutto slices

Hard boiled eggs cut in half and sprinkled with truffle salt

Nut selection- almonds, hazelnuts, brazil nuts, macadamia nuts

Cheese (pick your favorites)

Parmesan crips, flickers, or crackers

 

The Summer Board:

Berries (Any kind)

Banana slices

Apples

Grapes

Nut Butter

Low sugar granola

Greek Yogurt as a dip for berries (i like to use 2 or 5% fage plain and Add honey)

Mix 2 tbs of peanut butter, 2 tbs of whipped cream cheese, 1 tbs of cream for a low carb peanut butter dip

 

The Asian Board:

Tuna Sashimi 

Salmon Sashimi

Miracle noodles drained and tossed with sesame oil and coconut aminos to taste (can purchase on amazon or whole foods)

Matchstick Carrots

Bean Sprouts

Nori sheets to rolls all ingredients 

Serve with an easy Peanut Butter dipping sauce.....4 tps PB and 4-6 tbs of coconut aminos or as much as gives you a consistency good for dipping. 

Roll ingredients in Nori wraps as you would a sushi roll.  Dip in Peanut Butter Sauce
