High-performing women are often celebrated for what they are able to accomplish. They tend to juggle personal and professional relationships in a way that seems effortless. Yet, many of us are suffering in silence saying, “This is not the life I signed up for.” On the surface it looks perfect, but underneath we are desperately looking for connection, comfort, freedom, and peace.

You see, the final product or the achievement isn’t what we should be noticing. It is the motivation behind some of our greatest achievements that will be of most interest. Many of us have felt inadequate most of our lives, and achievement was a way that we could “FIT” in. A way for us to feel good enough and worthy. 

Until we hit a point where we are willing to reflect on how things are REALLY going for us, we won’t be able to rediscover who we are authentically. This takes a massively brave action of going inward to become aware and then deciding how we want to proceed. The problem is, we often know that we desire things to change, but we don’t know where to start.

In the past, to make a change, we have just altered our situation. After all, we are really good at fixing things. Maybe we changed jobs, added a kid, or committed to a new relationship. We are now at a place where we know that working on external things is preventing us from going inward and discovering our core desires.

It was easy to focus on the external because we could make things “FIT” for the time being, but it wasn’t really a true, authentic fit. It was almost as if we were wearing baggy boyfriend jeans when we were actually meant to wear bootcut. We are no longer willing to fit into a space that we’ve outgrown, or were never meant to be in the first place. We have more interest in showing up in the world authentically so that we can create our own custom fit.

You probably don’t remember being an infant, yet you may have been told that you showed the world exactly who you were when you were born. Isn’t it interesting that we spend so much time and energy rediscovering just who that is? We show so many qualities early on, however, we are pushed along by society to do more, be more, achieve more so we lose sight of this. And, because we were “meant to do more” then clearly what we were already doing just wasn’t enough.

1.   Who is The Fit Woman Collective™ (FWC) for?

FWC is open to any individual who identifies as a woman who has high performance in their background. High performance does not specify a certain career, but rather someone who has a history of high achievement potential in their life. FWC is designed for women who are craving self-love, self-acceptance, and want to embrace their authentic selves in mind and body. Please note, if you identify as a transgender woman or nonbinary, and the FWC message speaks to you, you are warmly welcomed in our community.

2.   How Is the Content Delivered?

The FWC program is fully delivered in our app, The Fit Collective. This makes it VERY convenient to access all your videos and community discussion boards in one place. The Fit Collective App is available for all smart phones. The Fit Collective App connects to My Fitness Pal, Fit Bit, and Apple Watch. Another cool feature is that the app keeps you on track by offering a daily To-do List. You can even pull Mind-Body Workouts from your On-Demand library into your schedule on your terms.

3.   I am in a coaching program, would FWC benefit me?

Absolutely. In fact, FWC will help you get more out of your current coaching program. One of the things that we tend to overlook is prioritizing ourselves. FWC will keep you motivated, inspired, and believing that you are the most important person in the room. FWC will encourage you to become the most content version of yourself because we are giving specific tools for you to learn exactly who you are. Also, FWC is a great supplement because it provides an amazing, uplifting community that you can lean into. 

4.   Is there any 1:1 support offered in FWC?

FWC does not offer 1:1 support. The content is well developed and will guide you towards achieving your FWC goals. It is a great space to experience tremendous growth, and it will help you to decide if you desire more support or not. For many, FWC is a perfect amount of community support and for others, they find having a 1:1 or group coach is something they desire. FWC can be a stand-alone program or a supplement to your other pursuits.

5.   I want to lose weight; would FWC help me with this?

FWC provides simple nutrition strategies that will allow you to get in touch with your authentic body as well as optimize your health. The principles are highly effective, easy to implement, and simple and would be a benefit to someone trying to lose weight optimally. Optimal weight loss is muscle mass preservation and fat loss which occurs with a specific nutrition recommendation along with strength training. Both concepts are taught in FWC.

6.   I want to be more consistent with exercise; is FWC a good program to help with this?

100%. Each month you receive 4 new workouts which are 30-minute Mind-Body Strength routines. You need minimal if not any equipment. This would be a great starting place for anyone who is new to exercise. The program is also great for anyone who is a seasoned athlete as the training progresses each week. The Mind-Body workouts are heavy hitters because you can work on mindset, emotional regulation, and physical health all at the same time. And, if you already have a routine that you love, you can use these workouts as a supplement.

7.   Is Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credit offered in FWC?

No. Our Transform® program has CME available for women physicians who participate. 

8.   Do you offer other programs if you want a higher level of support?

Yes! FWC Plus is Coming Soon. We also have Transform®, our Optimal Health program, for women physicians that offers custom nutrition, body composition transformation, body composition assessments with nutrition adjustments, guidance in Mindful Macros® and calculated macros, a strength program curated by Ali Novitsky MD that changes weekly to ensure progression, high touch written nutrition, exercise, and mindset coaching, high touch live group coaching, physical therapy led injury prevention, physical therapy led Core & Floor program, high yield weekly content, daily habit tracking, and offering of 72-CME credits.

9.   Can you speak on the energy vibe of FWC?

We are a group of women who live in a growth mindset which means we have no room for drama. We do not tolerate anything less than loving kindness in our community discussion board. We will remove any comments or posts that are not consistent with our values. And, if a member is not in alignment with our mission, we will hold compassion and remove them from the group.
